DILG may implement 'no vaccine, no subsidy' for unvaccinated 4Ps beneficiaries

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) may implement “no vaccine, no subsidy” for unvaccinated beneficiaries of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

Many 4Ps beneficiaries still refuse to get vaccinated against COVID-19, according to DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya.

That puts the agency in proposing to “disincentivize” the unvaccinated government aid recipients.

So dadagdagan pa natin ng isa pang kondisyon which is pagbabakuna,” dagdag ng undersecretary.

National Task Force Against COVID-19 spokesperson Restituto Padilla Jr. said that the government is now discussing how it can implement mandatory vaccination against COVID-19.
